Cherry Creek Community Church is dedicated to Bible-centered Preaching and Teaching. It is of up most importance that we always preach and teach the true Word of God and be prepared to do so anytime and anywhere. We believe the value of Bible-centered preaching and teaching incorporates a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. As a church, we have a duty to not only preach the Word but to live by it in every aspect of our lives, so that those around us can see the joy and wonders of living for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our Church is dedicated to the growth of Loving and Caring Relationships within individual families as well as with the church family and our surrounding community. As followers of Jesus Christ, we take Passionate Evangelism seriously and desire to fulfill our role in the great commission. People matter to God so they matter to us. Totally committed followers of Christ do the work of evangelism. This incorporates the concepts of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process. We are intentional in cultivating relationships with those who do not know Jesus, we desire to plant seeds of truth and we seek to reap a harvest for Christ.
We are a church of Authentic Believers that are dedicated to honoring and glorifying Jesus Christ in all areas of daily living. Love, integrity and honesty are essential for authenticity. This value will manifest itself as we offer genuine care for others that in turn, invites others to come and grow.
As a church that focuses on Meaningful Worship, we believe that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. We believe that man’s greatest needs are met and found in right relationship with God. We praise Him for who He is and what He has done, thus bringing about our good and His honor. Worship is a lifestyle, not restricted to church services. We worship God for the grace of His Son Jesus Christ, for revealing His Truth and for glorifying Himself in us.
In our desire to be Outreach Sensitive we will strive to have a non-intimidating environment that emphasizes the love of Jesus Christ in a culturally relevant style and setting. We desire to be able to welcome and invite people to a non-threatening, caring and comfortable atmosphere where truth may be heard. For visitors, there will be no money expectations or Biblical knowledge required, we hold no assumptions that everyone “knows” but rather we seek to communicate an exciting “come and see” atmosphere.
As a church, we desire to Intentionally Make Disciples of Jesus Christ, not just by leading people to the Lord, but through developing life-long learning and training opportunities and strategies. We desire to help build new believers in their faith and then help equip and motivate mature believers in their walk and service to God. We are intentional about winning the lost in salvation in Christ, building the believer in devotion to Christ and equipping the believer in service to Christ.
Intercessory Prayer is vital as our church lives or dies on its devotion to God through corporate and individual prayer. The guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit is essential in the life of a believer and in the body of Christ.
As a church, we believe in the sufficiency of Scriptures to aid in resolving conflict in relationships thus bringing about peace in relationships. Biblical Counseling is a focus of our church as we seek to share God’s Word which has the transforming power to help bring people from conflict with God to peace with Him, from conflict with others to peace with others, and from conflict within ourselves to peace within ourselves.
