Our Core Values

1. Bible-centered Preaching and Teaching
• As a church, we must always preach and teach the true Word of God and be ready to preach and teach anytime and anywhere (II Timothy 4:1-5).
• This value also incorporates a strong sense of responsibility. Our church must not only talk the talk but must walk the walk. We have been entrusted to preach God's Word and failure to do so has its consequences. So, as a church, we have a duty to not only preach the Word but to live by it in every aspect of our lives so those around us can see the joy and wonders of living for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Romans 10:12-15; James 1:22).
2. Godly Servant Leadership
• As a church, we must always preach and teach the true Word of God and be ready to preach and teach anytime and anywhere (II Timothy 4:1-5).
• Our church leadership will consist of men and women who are committed to Jesus Christ first as well as our families.
•Our church leadership will strive to use the gifts that God has given us responsibly to fulfill the mission of the church (I Timothy 4:12b).
   - Being role models and examples of Godly men and women to the church and the community.
   - Having honest, open and caring relationships between the staff and volunteer leaders.
   - Being accountable to each other and full of integrity.
3. Loving and Caring Relationships
Our church is dedicated to the growth of loving and caring relationships within:
• Individual families (Ephesians 5:22-6:4; I Peter 3:1-7).
• The church family (Ephesians 5:19-21; I Peter 3:8-9, Romans 12:9-13).
• Our surrounding community (Matthew 9:9-13).
4. Passionate Evangelism
As followers of Jesus Christ, our church should do whatever it takes within scriptural guidelines to reach those who are not already in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Matthew 12:44-46; Luke 5:30-32; I Corinthians 9:19-23; Matthew 28:18-20).
  - People matter to God so they matter to us.
  - Totally committed followers of Christ by definition do the work of evangelism.
  - This value incorporates the concepts of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process.
  - This value also incorporates a commitment to the great commission through multiplying churches that multiply churches.
  - Eternal CPR - Cultivating relationships with those who do not know Christ, Planting seeds of truth, Reaping a harvest for Christ.
5. Authentic Believers
• As a church we are dedicated to living a life that will honor and glorify Jesus Christ in all areas of daily living (Matthew 23:25).
• Love, integrity, and honesty are essential for authenticity (I Peter 1:22).
• This value will manifest itself as we offer genuine care for others that in turn invites others to come and grow.
6. Meaningful Worship
•As a church, we believe that God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.
•As a church, we believe that man's greatest needs are met and found in a right relationship with God. We praise Him for who He is and what He has done thus bringing about our good and His honor.
  - Worship is life-long, not restricted to church services (Psalm 104:33-34).
  - Worship God for the grace of His Son Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:3-8).
  - Worship God for revealing His Truth (Ephesians 1:9-10).
  - Worship God for glorifying Himself in us (Ephesians 1:11-14).
7. Outreach Sensitive
• Our church will strive to have a non-intimidating environment that emphasizes the love of Jesus Christ in a culturally relevant style and setting (Jeremiah 29:13-14; I Corinthians 9:20-22).
• We desire to be able to welcome and invite people to a non-threatening, caring and comfortable atmosphere where truth may be heard.
•For visitors, there will be no money expectations or Biblical knowledge required… no assumptions that everyone "knows" but rather we seek to communicate an exciting "come and see" atmosphere (Psalm 66:5; John 1:46).
8. Intentional Disciple Making
As a church, we desire to intentionally make disciples of Jesus Christ, not just by leading people to the Lord, but through developing life-long learning and training opportunities and strategies. We desire to help build new believers in their faith and then help equip and motivate mature believers in their walk and service to God (Matthew 28:18-20).
•Winning the lost in salvation in Christ.
•Building the believer in devotion to Christ.
•Equipping the believer in service to Christ.
9. Intercessory Prayer
•Our church lives or dies on its devotion to God through corporate and individual prayer (Acts 2:42-47; Acts 4; Acts 13:1-3; I Thessalonians 5:17; Ephesians 6:18).
• Spirit for guidance and direction is essential (Luke 11:9-10).
10. Biblical Counseling
• As a church, we believe in the sufficiency of Scriptures to aid in resolving conflict in relationships thus bringing about peace in relationships.
• God's Word has the transforming power to help bring people:
  - From conflict with God to peace with God (Romans 5:1-2).
  - From conflict with others to peace with others (Ephesians 4:20-32).
  - From conflict within ourselves to peace within ourselves (I Peter 5:6-7).
